Rescue of Oracle Jones

A Troll Production (A Princecon 41 adventure)

You are followers of the King of Dunne, Israel, Mordor, Helm, and now Norway - Marvin the 1st.    Yes, in the First installment Marvin was the Duke of Dunne.   Then he became the King with a Queen from each Kingdom.   It is good to be the King.   Helm is ruled by Marvin’s Son Prince Marvin 2nd and Queen Jane.   Norway is ruled by Marvin’s eldest daughter Elizabeth. The bloody wars are over and the King rules all for the good of everyone and in peace.   Taxes have been lowered.   Norway was added as the 5 & 6th Kingdoms of Dunne after the bloody assassination of King Heimdall of Norway soon after his secret marriage to Princess Elizabeth.

Queen Jane of Helm had an Oracle named Jones who everyone believed was murdered while under her protection.   Now it is believed that he is alive and a captive in Dunne.   A true Oracle sees the future and would be a disaster for the existing War with Bell.   Therefore, his skills are too dangerous in the hands of an enemy; he must be rescued or killed.

BLOOD ON THE CLOCKTOWER

In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, ‌a demon walks amongst you...

During a hellish thunderstorm, on the stroke of midnight, there echoes a bone-chilling scream.

The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the town storyteller murdered, their body impaled on the hands of the clocktower, blood dripping onto the cobblestones below.

blood on the clocktower demon head.png

A Demon is on the loose, murdering by night and disguised in human form by day. Some have scraps of information. Others have abilities that fight the evil or protect the innocent. But the Demon and its evil minions are spreading lies to confuse and breed suspicion.

In the quiet village of Ravenswood Bluff, ‌a demon walks amongst you... Will the good townsfolk put the puzzle together in time to execute the true demon and save themselves? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful village?

A Bluffing Game ‌‌Like No Other...

-All players are in it for the entire game, staying on as influential ghosts even if their characters die! In Blood on the Clocktower, DEATH IS NOT THE END.

-If you arrive late to a game, you can enter after it's started as a powerful Traveller character with unusual talents and questionable allegiances.

-Drunkenness, madness, and the odd poisoning are common in Ravenswood Bluff. With these unique features you can never trust anyone completely, not even yourself.

12-15 Players.

Can under 18s play?  Totally fine, so long as they understand the theme of "demons" and "kills" is just a game mechanic. Language and descriptions will be PG-13 if there are any under 18 players.
